14th SS Volunteer Infantry Division "Galicia".

An SS division made up of Ukrainian volunteer collaborators. She is best known for her participation in acts of terror and anti-partisan actions (destruction of villages, mass executions, torture). It operated in Poland, Slovakia, and Yugoslavia.

In 1944, it met with the Soviet Army and was defeated. After the war, a large number of former members of Galicia fled to the United States and Canada.

After the military coup in Ukraine, they were proclaimed "heroes, fighters for independence."
